These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website and services operated by Vedang (“we”, “us”, “our”), including ordering personalized Vedic astrology / FuturePath reports (the “Services”).
By accessing the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who may use the Services
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.
- Reports about a child may be ordered only by a parent or legal guardian who is authorised to provide the child’s birth information and to receive the report.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you submit (including birth date, time, place, and contact details).
2. Nature of the Services (important)
Vedang provides personalized interpretive reports based on Vedic astrology traditions and related frameworks, combined with parenting-oriented language and optional AI-assisted drafting.
The Services are for informational, educational, and entertainment purposes only. They are not:
- medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice or diagnosis
- legal, financial, or professional counselling
- a substitute for licensed healthcare, education, or parenting professionals
You should use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals for decisions about health, education, safety, or wellbeing. See also our separate Disclaimer.
3. Orders, accounts, and communication
- Placing an order creates a request for us to generate and deliver the selected report(s).
- We may send transactional emails (order confirmation, payment confirmation, report delivery) to the email you provide.
- You agree to keep your contact details accurate so we can deliver the report.
4. Pricing and payment
- Prices are shown at checkout in the stated currency (typically INR) and may change from time to time.
- Payment is processed by third-party payment providers (for example Razorpay). Their terms also apply to the payment transaction.
- An order is considered paid when our systems (or payment provider confirmation / webhook) successfully record payment.
- Until payment is confirmed, fulfilment may be delayed or not started.
5. Delivery
- Digital reports are typically delivered by email and/or made available through our systems after payment and generation.
- Generation may take time depending on plan, modules, and third-party astrology/PDF providers.
- Delivery timelines stated on the site (if any) are estimates, not guarantees.
- You are responsible for providing a working email address and checking spam/junk folders.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse the website, attempt to disrupt security, or access data you are not authorised to access
- submit false, misleading, or unauthorised personal data (including another person’s child without authority)
- reverse engineer, scrape, or resell our report content at scale without written permission
- use the Services for unlawful purposes
We may refuse, cancel, or suspend an order or access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or that fraud/abuse is involved.
7. Intellectual property
- The website design, branding, report templates, software, and original written materials are owned by Vedang or our licensors.
- Astrology calculation engines, PDF modules, and other components may be provided by third parties under their own rights.
- Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased report for your family’s private use. You may not republish or commercially redistribute the report without our written consent.
8. Third-party services
We use third parties for astrology calculations, PDF generation, payments, email, hosting, AI drafting (where enabled), and backups. Their availability and output can affect delivery. We are not responsible for outages or errors solely caused by those providers, except to the extent required by law. See our Privacy Policy for what data is shared.
9. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy. By purchasing, you also agree to that policy.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that reports will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any specific outcome regarding a child’s development, education, relationships, or future.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
- Vedang and its owners, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising from your use of the Services or reliance on any report.
- Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to any order shall not exceed the amount you actually paid to us for that order.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including fraud or wilful misconduct where such exclusion is prohibited).
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vedang from claims arising out of: (a) inaccurate or unauthorised information you submit; (b) your misuse of the Services or reports; or (c) your breach of these Terms — except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
13. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Vadodara Jurisdiction shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
